ScPDF417 - PDF417 symbol recognition

    This product is available as DLL and OCX for Windows and as dynamic library for Linux. Porting to embedded system is available upon request..

    You may use our free library ScImgRW to load the image in memory as a DIB, from black-white, gray or color images, from TIFF, BMP, PNG or JPG files.

    ScPDF417 is highly customizable. You may set:

• position
• number of symbols to be returned
• bars color of the expected symbols (black, white or both)
• orientation of the expected symbols (left to right, right to left, top to bottom, bottom to top and combinations of these)

    ScPDF417 returns the number of symbols found and for every symbol found it reports back:

• symbol string (information encoded)
• position of the symbol
• color of the bars
• skew angle
• confidence

    ScPDF417 handles the ECC error correction algorithm for recognition of partially destroyed symbols
