ScBar - Linear barcode recognition
ScBar detects and decodes linear barcodes from a DIB
This product is available as DLL and OCX for Windows and as dynamic library for Linux. Porting to embedded system is available upon request..
You may use our free library ScImgRW to load the image in memory as a DIB, from black-white, gray or color images, from TIFF, BMP, PNG or JPG files.
ScBar is highly customizable. You may set:
- position
- number of barcodes to be returned
- bars color of the expected barcodes (black, white or both)
- orientation of the expected barcodes (left to right, right to left, top to bottom, bottom to top and combinations of these)
- barcode types to be searched for
ScBar returns the number of barcodes found and for every barcode found it reports back:
- barcode string
- barcode type
- position of the barcode
- color of the bars
- skew angle
- checksum
